Abilities

Ranged

Elysse is skilled with long-raged rifles, favoring something akin to a sniper rifle with a scope for her day to day life. She also has a set of pistols when enemies are too close for a rifle shot, but not close enough for a physical strike.

Thrown/Melee

Elysse has a pair of axes she has on her hips at all time, for if something decides to get up close and personal.

Magic

She's started on the path of the Thornspeaker, having learned how to shift into a wicker-bird. As of now, she has a minor ability to heal mild to moderate wounds, anything major is beyond her ability. She favors summoning roots to drain the life essence of her foes and feed it back into the planet.

Tarot

She does tarot card readings, having made several predictions that came true.

Appearance

Elysse is a tall, almost imposing woman at first. Her bright blonde hair has grayed from her years, but time has been kind to her. Wrinkles are just starting to form along her face and body, though thanks to her recent transformation into a Worgen, they have all but stopped.

She's curvy, but muscular. It's clear she takes care of herself, but doesn't have a major workout routine.

Her skin is tanned, odd for a Gilnean, but not odd for her Kul Tiran heritage. One eye is a deep blue, while the other is a forest green.

Sometimes, when playing the part of a 'witch', she will paint her skin pale with dark marks under her eyes, though upon moving out of Kul Tiran, she ceased to do that.

She favors fashion that allows her to freely move, though when fighting she does wear thick leathers to protect herself. Most of her clothing is an earthly tone, though she does have some brightly colored outfits.

Scarring

She currently has a scar on her inner thigh from getting shot at by a witch hunter, as well as a series of scars on her abdomen from that time she got into a bar fight with a crab. Another is on her leg, from where a naga siren sunk into it with a frost bolt.

Health

She's in, all things considered, peak health. Nothing causes her any issue.

History

Birth and toddler years

All things considered, her younger years were very unremarkable. Her parents worked hard, with her father being a handy man and her mother being a midwife. They had an average size home in Gilneas, though her mother was from Kul Tiras and moved away to be with her father. Elysse never had any siblings, her birth being hard enough on her mother that the family decided on no more. Though Elysse wished she had had siblings in later years, it never effected her in a negative way.

Childhood

Her childhood was also rather unremarkable. She was a bit of a prankster and loved to walk into the woods and find animals to bring home. Her favorite things to bring home were frogs and snakes, which she would hide in cabinets, drawers...and something in the houses of bullies. Due to her height, she often found herself the target of mockery for being large, but it also gained her a sizeable friend group of kids who were bullied for being smaller. While her family was by no means wealthy, she was sent to school to learn rather than being put to work. She wasn't the easiest to educate, always needing to move around and be doing something, but she managed to pass her classes all the same.

Teenage Years

Upon entering her pre-teen years, she would join her father in his line of work, much to the disappointment to her mother. The few times she was forced to attend with her mother at a birth, Elysse would get violently ill - unable to stomach the miracle of birth. After two times of the younger girl running out - and swearing off children forever - she was let free of further duties.

She would learn the ways of carpentry, stone masonry, animal husbandry and really anything and everything the town needed help with. It kept her busy when not in school - and kept her somewhat out of trouble. She wasn't all work all the time and still found ways to get up to trouble, such as sneaking in while a 'rival' and their family was away, and nailing all their furniture to the ceiling of their house. To say she was a daddy's girl was an understatement, and she strove to be like him. Though, she wasn't wholly unlike her mother, as was shown when she neared the age of eighteen.
