House Ayares is a former noble family of Silvermoon that achieved prominence in trade, society and politics before the fall of Silvermoon to the Scourge in the year 22.
History
The Ayares line traces all the way back to one Velenmar Rauzen Ayares Summerfeather (formerly known as Velenmar Ayares), one of many Highborne exiles at the time. He initiated the establishment of the first Ayares vineyards and after quite a few setbacks managed to create a successful financial foothold paving the way forward for his successors. While this did not remain as the main source of income for the Ayares family, they took great pride in their wine brand known as "V. Rauzen".
