Suggestion about cosmetic spells.

This is a good idea. I'd advise just taking all the spells we already know of from other servers, since they were very helpful. That jump ability was one I'm thinking of, too? Or maybe it used to be a .npc command, can't remember. I'm sure you know the one I mean.
