Legion Lore and What is Known

Heya folks, with Legion out for near a weak now, we've decided to draw up a list of things that people can know or not.



Please bear in mind, this information is applicable only to characters who make sense to know it. Otherwise, most of this information can be known via legends, stories, and rumor.





What can be known!



<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Basic Broken Isles Info</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">



-Knowledge of Night Elven Ruins, Val’sharah, Suramar (excluding City), and Azsuna.

-Knowledge of the Broken Isle Tauren Tribes

-Shaladrassil is alive and uncorrupted.

-Legends tell of King Deepbeard, the Sea Giant.

-Halls of Valor exist in Stormheim, but no one knows what it looks like on the inside. Vrykul tell stories of it, along with legends of Skyhold and more.

-Helheim only exists in legend among the Vrykul.

-Black Rook Hold lies abandoned and presumed lost.

-The story of Huln Highmountain and how he helped Jarod Shadowsong and the Resistance in the War of the Ancients.

-Knowledge of Ashamane, the Wild God of Sabercats

-Wardens Only - Knowledge of the Vault, Watch Towers, and Isle of the Watchers



-Dragonkin- Knowledge of the last clutch of Blue eggs/whelps, Blues know it as Azurewing Repose.



-Dark Riders of Deadwind are just a legend and haunt Duskwood/Deadwind Pass.



-Drogbar were slaves of Neltharion prior to being Deathwing, presumed extinct.



-Vrykul in Stormheim, they awoke long after the Sundering, only elves from the region would know.

Stories exist for the following Artifacts; Claws of Ursoc, Scythe of Elune (in the custody of the Druids), G'hanir, Talonclaw, Thas'dorah, Felo'melorn (believed lost in Icecrown), Sheilun (kept in the Terrace of Endless Spring), Fists of the Heavens, T'uure (the Draenei believe it to be lost to the Legion), The Kingslayers (owned by Garona), The Dreadblades, Sharas'dal, Scepter of Sargeras, Strom'kar (legendary blade of the First King of Arathor, lost to time).



Stories exist for the following Class Halls; Sanctum of the Light (rumored to be under Light's Hope Chapel), Trueshot Lodge (presumed destroyed in the Sundering), Hall of the Guardian (highly rumored sanctum within Dalaran), Netherlight Temple (known to the Draenei, but lost to the Legion), Heart of Azeroth (known to Shamans as the center of the world, elementally, currently empty).

-Any artifact or Class Hall not listed above.

-Suramar City being intact and well. It is presumed destroyed due to the magic bubble about it.

-New types of Demons such as Jailers, Inquisitors, Overfiends, etc.

-Fal’dorei are not known about in any way.

-Violet Holds new batch of inmates from after Wrath of the Lich King.

-Knowledge of the Storm Dragons of Stormheim/Suramar.

-The Villagers of Bradensbrook, who fled Gilneas, are presumed to be lost at Sea.

-Aggramar’s Vault is a rumor and nothing more.

-The Islands have no trait of fel corruption as of right now.

-The Broken Shore, as well as most of Aszuna and Suramar are abandoned and empty. The only inhabitants being specters.

-You cannot go to the Broken Isles prior to the Legion Storyline. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Please take note we have added this to the what can NOT be known section! This applies to ALL characters, even Legion demons (consider these demons secret weapons of the upper hierarchy of the legion that isn't seen until WoD and some until Legion)
