WoW Freedom

Hey everyone, as many of you have seen or experienced, when you try to launch the WoD server you get a CAS error of some sort. So WoD will be down for most people. Even though there are very few who can still access it, they likely are asking it from having a cached version saved, but most others cannot access it. We are waiting for a fix in the meantime, so check the announcements section over the next couple of days for updates!

Could making a cached version available for download potentially be a quick fix?

It would be a better use of our time right now to make a solution so this (hopefully) doesn't happen again. Making a cached version would require getting access to the server, uploading a 30+ GB file to it, creating a torrent, then having people download a second 30+GB file that has no guarantee that it will stay working, as some people who had cached versions are finding that they're getting the same issue.



Please just sit tight and wait for a fix to roll out. We anticipated things like this happening (though not exactly like this), and thus is why we did a soft-launch of WoD. The MoP server is still up and fully operational for the time being.
