Hello folks. Now that more and more people are getting exposed to the Sha, we felt like it was time to make an announcement addressing them in earnest. This will include a few points, so it is VERY important to read this over if you are going to be RPing in Pandaria and doing anything related to the Sha. I HIGHLY suggest reading the Guide that was written up concerning the Sha, which can be found [url="http://w11.zetaboards.com/WoW_Freedom/topic/11332913/1"><s></s>here.
First Point-
To any Storytellers, or anyone in general, planning to run any event in Pandaria concerning the Sha, you must be clear in your plans to us. If not a Storyteller, you need to contact us regardless concerning your plans, as we must be informed of anything with the Sha involved.
Second Point-
There have been many attempts to Mind Control or to Dominate the Sha since the start of MoP. As an OOC Note, this is an incredibly bad idea. This is beyond a regular sha-corruption of a player, as you are willingly trying to enter into the 'mind' of a Old God Remnant. The Sha are not like the Faceless or any of the Aqir-born races. They are the literal fragments of the most powerful Old God on Azeroth. Attempting to Mind Control/Dominate a Sha can very likely end up getting your character killed or mentally broken to the point of being a vegetable.
Third Point-
While being the unwilling victim of Sha corruption is not always a death sentence, it is still a damning experience that would alter the lives of any who was possessed. Your character is not themselves while the Sha inhabit them. They become a version of themselves fueled by an extreme version of the negative emotion that connects them to one of the Seven Sha (Doubt, Despair, Fear, Anger, Violence, Hatred, and Pride (Though Pride is encountered INCREDIBLY RARELY this early on, if at all)). There are ways to cleanse it if possessed.
Keep these in mind whenever dealing with the Sha or planning to run events with them in it. Once more I recommend that you all read the Guide to the Sha. It is in the Guide section of the forums, but I will link it here once more.

Thank you and have fun out there!
