| Hisu was born atop the back of a colossal turtle named Shen-zin Su, otherwise known to the people as the Wandering Isle. In Morning Breeze village, Hisu swiftly grew up with the other children of the village. The Truespirit family was one of great heritage, specifically in the art of brewing. Hisu's father, Linshu, taught the young pandaren all of his secret methods. In particular, Hisu was entrusted with the knowledge on how to create the families signature brew, passed down for generations; the Spirit Ale. However, Hisu was a slight oddity to his father. Whereas Hisu was able to brew effectively, he had a more particular interest in the making of tea. He also spent a large amount of his time with his mother, Yanmei, who would often take Hisu out to the grotto south of the village. There they would both sit and contemplate over the many scrolls of wisdom. It was these times Hisu treasured the most, and it was here he was taught to read and write.
Over the years, Hisu would stray further from brewing. Instead of mixing ale, he would take to writing and learning (much to the extent an infant could). At three years, Yanmei gifted Hisu his own tiny brush with paint. Hisu's earliest scrolls were naught but childish doodles, small inked paw prints and jumbled sentences of 'wisdom', but such were all forgings for his future. Hisu still keeps his very first written advice, reading "I can't drink brew yet, but I can write all the words in the world!" Linshu conceded in Hisu's talent, and even adopted it to aid in his art of brewmastery. He would have Hisu write all his new recipes and methods, keeping them close. Though they were written by a child, Linshu was warmed by the words, neglecting to have them rewritten even today.
At five years old, Hisu discovered that his mother was again with child. The Truespirit family was overjoyed, and Hisu took to telling the entire village. Nothing excited him more, and the following months were only filled with Hisu trying to prepare himself to be the best brother he could. Musu was born healthy and strong. Hisu will always remember looking upon Yanmei and hearing her words. "Always follow him, Hisu. You are together now, like the land and air."
