Mar was born shortly before her twin sister, Alenice, as part of the family Ten’Shelar. A family known for enchanting and engineering, often combining the two. So did Mar, starting her training from an early age. Her training started in basic engineering and Arcane use until she reached the age of a hundred before deciding to follow into her father’s footsteps and enlisting with the Farstriders.
Mar’s life was a simple one for most of her life, training with the Farstriders and any time she was off, she spend with her family, perfecting her enchanting and engineering. By the time the first Orcs were spotted on Azeroth, Mar was a Captain within the Farstriders, leading her own squad against the Trolls. Her superiors wouldn’t bother assisting the human city of Stormwind.
In the relative ‘peace’ between the First and Second War, Mar and her family took a short vacation together away from any engineering or enchanting for a while. However, the family’s escort got attacked by a group of Trolls. Mar always kept a dagger around just in case, which was the very thing that saved her from attacks. Teliori, Raeath and Alenice tried to keep the Trolls at bay while Mar cut down any that came to close. Sadly these Trolls were smarter than they looked. A couple of Trolls attacked from the rear, instantly cutting down Teliori and Raeath. After the fight, the twins carroed their deceased parents to the cart and waited until help arrived.
After burying their parents, Mar took up the position of Matron of the House, keeping her sister close as advisor and friend.
Years passed and the Second War against the Orcs arrived. This time closer to the borders of Quel’thalas. Silvermoon joined the war effort, so did Mar and her squadron. Mar gave her goodbyes and her position of Matron to her sister and left with the Farstriders to assist the Alliance.
Mar and her squad fought on the frontlines to reach the Dark Portal, and she was there when Khadgar closed it. Only for Ner’zhul using the rift to recreate it. A suicide mission was planned to destroy the Orcs where they came from. Mar and her squad were one of the groups to pass through the Portal.
