well i am new so i might be doing this wrong, but when i type my user name and pass in and it connects, it shows that the server is there, doesn't say it is down but it stays "Connected" and even if i restart it, it will still do it.

Heyo! The problem you're experiencing is because the server has crashed. Since the MoP server is in testing, it seems to be down an awful lot until we can hammer out the difficulties. Really sorry. Dx
