First day, first problem - Magikox - 06-19-2015 So I tried to log in and every time I try this happens and I dont know what to do. <IMG src="http://i.imgur.com/XCC4TyP.jpg"><s>[img]</s><e>[/img]</e></IMG> First day, first problem - Azeroc - 06-19-2015 Where is your WoW located (full folder path)? Try deleting caches (WoW/Cache and WoW/Data/Cache) then try again. Can you paste contents of WoW/Logs/connection.log? If all fails, how does your WoW/Data folder looks like? That error is generally something to do with .MPQs not working properly. First day, first problem - Magikox - 06-19-2015 6/19 22:19:27.020 GRUNT: state: LOGIN_STATE_CONNECTING result: LOGIN_OK 6/19 22:19:27.210 GRUNT: state: RESPONSE_CONNECTED result: LOGIN_OK 192.223.25.140:3724 6/19 22:19:27.220 GRUNT: state: LOGIN_STATE_AUTHENTICATING result: LOGIN_OK 6/19 22:19:27.429 GRUNT: state: LOGIN_STATE_CHECKINGVERSIONS result: LOGIN_OK 6/19 22:19:27.509 GRUNT: state: LOGIN_STATE_HANDSHAKING result: LOGIN_OK 6/19 22:19:27.698 GRUNT: state: LOGIN_STATE_AUTHENTICATED result: LOGIN_OK 6/19 22:19:27.698 ClientConnection Initiating: COP_CONNECT code=CSTATUS_CONNECTING 6/19 22:19:28.069 ClientConnection Completed: COP_CONNECT code=RESPONSE_CONNECTED result=TRUE 6/19 22:19:28.097 ClientConnection Initiating: COP_AUTHENTICATE code=CSTATUS_AUTHENTICATING 6/19 22:19:28.702 ClientConnection Completed: COP_AUTHENTICATE code=AUTH_OK result=TRUE 6/19 22:19:29.434 Client Disconnect due to reason:16 6/19 22:19:29.434 ClientConnection Completed: COP_AUTHENTICATE code=RESPONSE_CANCELLED result=FALSE So the caches seem to do nothing once deleted. This above is the log and as for the Data folder I will put a Screenshot here. First day, first problem - Magikox - 06-19-2015 This is the Data Folder: <IMG src="http://i.imgur.com/8ZNcoyg.png"><s>[img]</s><e>[/img]</e></IMG> First day, first problem - Vanora - 06-19-2015 <div class='spoiler_toggle'>Follow the post below! I ninjad. :T</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"> I am admittedly not the most tech savvy, but comparing your data folder to my own, you seem to be missing "expansion2.mpq" and "expansion3.mpq". I am unsure if that is the reason for the error so take this message with a grain of salt, but you could try adding them in and see if it solves anything? (The 43401.mpq is a darker nights + blue eye patch, since I play a high elf in-game. It isn't required. :T) <div class='spoiler_toggle'>Picture of Data folder</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"><IMG src="http://s28.postimg.org/sf1mk19y5/Freedom1.jpg"><s>[img]</s><e>[/img]</e></IMG></div> I've tried uploading them myself but since they take ten hours each, I don't think that'll be an option. Perhaps you can download those specific files over the torrent that was in the .rar? In uTorrent you can delete the torrent file from the list, then re-add it by double-clicking the torrent file in the .rar package, at which point a window pops up with all the files listed. Deselect everything but the "expansion2.mpq" and "expansion3.mpq" files and it'll just download those two. :T <div class='spoiler_toggle'>Picture of uTorrent</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"><IMG src="http://s18.postimg.org/j5k09fbix/freedom2.png"><s>[img]</s><e>[/img]</e></IMG></div> </div> First day, first problem - Azeroc - 06-19-2015 EDIT: Looks like Vanora summed it up. I would still recommend full, clean redownload of our client, rather than pick those two missing .MPQs but you can try her way as it might be faster. You are missing:
Considering you have base-Win.MPQ, you likely are using a different client. You will need to download our client to get on the server:
First day, first problem - Vanora - 06-19-2015 Eep. Seems we both posted at the same time. I'd side with Azeroc's advice just to be sure, I've spoilered mine for now! In the end it is your call I suppose. ^^ First day, first problem - Magikox - 06-19-2015 Okay I am gonna try reidownloading it completely thank you both <E></E> First day, first problem - Andaran - 06-21-2015 I remember having a similar problem. It is most likely due to that you are using the patch 43400. Until WoW 4.3.4 is fully downloaded, it should always show that error when a custom patch is installed. And, WoW 4.3.4 is not fully downloaded when you have extracted the torrent. It still needs some extra files, but most of the setup is done. I could be wrong, but this is how it has worked for me. |
