It is my pleasure to announce that FreedomCore6 (fork of [url="https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore"><s></s>TrinityCore 6.x project) development (which has been on-going ever since winter) is soon entering public testing.

<COLOR color="#FFA00A"><s></s>Things you need to know about FreedomCore6
- Nothing will transfer over from our MoP server (so, say goodbye to all spawned game objects, NPCs, characters and so on). The transfer could be made possible but it would induce same bugs we had from Cata to MoP transfer (buggy characters, broken game objects and so forth), in addition, it would require quite a bit of time to create scripts and system just for the transfer, therefore, it is just a headache to do it anyways. This doesn't mean that you should stop building and spawning in MoP server, you can still do that (but remember that the spawned stuff will be gone when we mark release of WoD after public testing). Sorry for inconvenience, this will likely be the biggest con for moving over to WoD core
- During public testing and release phase we will be using WoD client 6.2.3 (rev 20886). This should be the last release by Blizzard, where it affects content and other client-side stuff about WoD. The size is about 29.1 GB. We will have torrent-download and direct download option for the client
- FreedomCore6 will use a newly made website, a lot better than the garbage I made years ago, which we use now. Since it is complicated for new users, there will be no global accounts, holding multiple in-game accounts. This time, you make an account on the new website and then you use that same one to log in the game. More on the website in feature list
- In-game account-login will be in form of <EMAIL email="[email protected]">[email protected]</EMAIL> (e.g. <EMAIL email="[email protected]">[email protected]</EMAIL> for account with username "azeroc")

<COLOR color="#FFA00A"><s></s>Total RP 3
TRP3 has been fixed server-side and client-side, allowing MSP (Mary-sue-protocol) communication between players. This allows player to use full feature-set of TRP3. Distributed FreedomEssentialsPatch will contain the fixed TRP3 addon, so there is no need to download and fix official one. There are still few kinks to fix, such as slow TRP3 query communication between players on the test server (addon-channel might be throttling TRP3).

This should come off as no surprise, as game object unlock is quite essential to all RP servers. Here is one of the new game objects:

Another major feature are custom items. There are over 100 thousand custom items added to the server:
- Every in-game weapon is added as custom item, multiplied across all sheath states (from 0 to 4, such as sheath as shield, sheath as one-handed, sheath as two-handed and etc.)
- Every chest-area armor items (shirts, tabards and cuirass/chest) are added as custom-items, multiplied across shirt, tabard and chest slot. This means that you can mix shirts, tabards and armor (such as some tabard item going into shirt slot), allowing you to be fashion-king with your unique mix and match gear.
- New FreedomCore6's website will offer you 4 ways to search custom items.
I heard some of CotH people liked shawls. You might notice one here:

This took me at least few weeks of annoying and painful effort to nail down how that devilish CharSections.dbc file works (in the end, I modified it with over thousand line SQL script, crafted over course of the weeks), but I managed to unlock all NPC/Hidden skins, including some NPC/Hidden hairstyle/hair-colors. In addition, the skin patch is pretty stable and shouldn't cause any issues. Of course, the DK skins are unlocked too.

Remember about shawl item? I got it by using custom item search from our new mini-manager website, using Creature/NPC's entry ID, which lists all its items.

How this Effects Freedom Roleplay
Hey guys, yes its true we are going to WOD. I'm gonna answer a few questions on what this means for us as a server and as how it effects roleplay on Freedom.
1. Does this mean we are skipping or blowing past Mists?
No. We are still progressing through Mists normally. We won't be skipping anything or blowing past any important lore events.
2. Then what are we going to WOD for?
Basically WOD allows us to fix glitches like TRP and the raid system and also gives us new assets to work with, like skins, player models, weapons armor, etc. It also allows us to seamlessly progress from the Mist Story into WOD's Story when the time comes without a long wait time in between.
3. Can we roleplay on Draenor before WOD? Even as characters during that period?
No. At this time we do not want players roleplaying on Draenor before we get to it. We feel this is necessary to prevent characters from over progressing characters in that time period long before we will ever head there and we do want to keep the focus on Mist Content while it is still current content. For the first few weeks of testing we will allow players to OOCLY look around Draenor as it would be unfair not too but if it becomes an issue where people are messing too much OOCLY in the zones we will lock it out to players.
4. What about items and armor sets? What about skins?
Some items and armor sets will be locked away from players just because they don't make sense to have at the current time period. As for skins. Most skins will be useable without a morph app. HOWEVER, skins like the Sargei skin will not be available until we hit certain points in the WOD story and thus cannot be used.
