WoW Freedom

Anyone got any ideas?

Which patch are you using? Blue eyes only, custom nights? PC? Mac?



All I had to do for the blue eyes one I'm using is to put it in wow/data. :T

Got any CotH patches still in that folder?

Worth a shot! Take them out and if it isn't that, you can always put them back. :T

I'm not sure what the CotH patches actually do but the Freedom ones are all you need for the server, so you may as well take them out <E>:o</E>

Currently:

• wow-update-43400.MPQ - Dark Nights + Game Object patch.
  
  
• wow-update-43401.MPQ - Blue-eyes patch.
  
  
• wow-update-43402.MPQ - stand-alone Dark Nights custom patch (don't mix with 43400).
  
  
• wow-update-43403.MPQ - stand-alone game object patch (don't mix with 43400).

Also when I try to use the freedom.exe it tells me it can't find the stream data, or something.

Try to delete WoW/Cache and WoW/Data/Cache and try again.



If that doesn't work, can you take a screenshot of your WoW, WoW/Data and WoW/enGB directories with details view like my screenshots?

Had PM'd a possible solution which unfortunately didn't work out. Your best option now is to download Mac client, remove World of Warcraft.app and Background Downloader.app, afterwards, place Freedom.exe and patch stuff in it and see if that works out.

You seem to have a lot more files then me in the folder at least. :T Since I've never used that CotH one, try poking the other people from CotH in-game to see if they are using the custom files? Wondering if its that WoW installation somehow not being fully compatible since you have a lot more files then me in there. (If you don't want to redownload that is, maybe anyone else figured out a solution for that WoW or can figure it out. :T Afraid I don't know.)
